| June 2 A new blogring for this roleplay has just been created. For those who have already created a site, join this blogring to stay in touch with everyone. For those of you who just applied, when I approve your application, make sure to join once you make your site.
May 27 The term has yet to start. Bill and Fleur's wedding is approaching, but other than that, everyone is anxiously awaiting news as to whether or not Hogwarts will re-open in absence of Dumbledore.
(The roleplay will officially start soon - for now, we need more characters!)

1. You must post at least twice a month. The reason why it's such a
small number of minimum postings is because I know that a lot of roleplays ask
you to post at least twice a week, but let's be honest - that's pretty
difficult. I know that with all the stuff I have going on, it would be almost
impossible to ask me to post twice every week. So twice a month isn't that much
to ask, really.
2. You must write your entries in journal form. It doesn't necessarily
have to start out with "Dear Diary" or something like that, but it
may if you so choose. The main point is that your character will be writing in
this as if it was a journal or diary - letting out his or her feelings like he or
she is talking to someone.
3. Check for updates. The updates will tell you the happenings at Hogwarts, so you can write about them in your journal entry.
4. Stay in character. You have no idea how annoying it is to see someone
playing Hermione and saying, "OMFG I LUV RON SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!"
Because, honestly, would Hermione ever talk like that? This is a realistic role
play. JKR created amazing characters for us to work with - there's no reason to
butcher them into annoying teeny-boppers.
5. Please don't start fights. I really don't want any stupid lashing
back and forth comment strings.
6. Keep it clean. I don't care if you curse a little bit, but if you
swear excessively, you're going to have to leave. This also has to do with rule
#3 - the Hogwarts characters aren't going around having sex with everyone they
meet. If it's within your character to have them do things with other characters,
fine. But there's nothing good about a disgustingly descriptive sex scene
written in a diary.
7. Tell your friends. We always want lots of people in on the fun.
That's all for now. Want to sign up? See the below entry for character
application information. | | |

Want to apply for a character? Fill out the form below!
Your Name:
Desired Character:
Why do you want to be in this roleplay?
Will Harry live or die?
Once I approve your application, I will leave you a comment on your personal
xanga. All site names are the word “broken” followed by a single underscore and
the capitalized first name of your character. For example, "broken_Hermione." After I have approved your application and you make your site, join our blogring to stay in touch with the other characters.
These are just characters I came up with on the spot. If you want to add one,
the request form is up in the above entry. No creating new characters that aren't in the book because nobody cares about those.
